AGARTALA, Jan 30 (TIWN): Infamous for Tripura, though a top North-eastern leader Himanta Biswa Sarma will campaign for Tripura along with many other central BJP leaders for the upcoming 2023 Assembly Poll.

Himanta Biswa Sarma, who is the incumbent, neighboring Assam Chief Minister is trolled often on social media for his pre-poll fake promises, especially a speech where Biswa Sarma is saying “Ghuma Ghuma Ke Chalana” challenging the media to take his all promises into count if BJP can’t fulfill them. Biswa Sarma’s speech turned a key-factor for Tripura BJP’s win in 2018 but if Sarma campaigns now, whether there will be any positive outcome for the BJP it’s extremely under doubt.

Tripura Assembly poll to be held on February 16 and the result will be declared on March 2nd.
