AGARTALA, Sep 28 (TIWN): Forest Department PL (Permanent Labours) workers seeking promotion from PL workers to FLW, several times requested to Higher Authorities officials also raised their issue to Sacked CM Biplab Deb and Present CM Manik Saha, reportedly. But, it is alleged that nobody kept their demand.

The workers alleged that sacked CM Biplab Deb had assured that their demands will be fulfilled but in reality Deb did not keep his given assurance, which made the workers resented.

Raising their demand the Forest Department PL (Permanent Labours) workers on Wednesday visited Forest Minister NC Debbarma’s house but they could not meet with Minister NC Debbarma as he is ill.

The workers before the media said that their Present salary is Rs 7,000 and with this less salary it has become difficult to run their family.

However, it remains to be seen whether their demands will be fulfilled or not.
