AGARTALA, July 1 (TIWN): Roads in remote areas are in a terrible state. Reportedly, Bhagirathpara area under Gandachhara subdivision has remained in terrible shape for long time, and people are facing difficulties due to potholes on the road.

Several times the matter was raised to the local authority but the authority has not taken any initiative to repair the road. A driver whose vehicle got stuck in the mud said that due to poor road construction his vehicle is undergoing heavy damages.

The local people including the regular passengers of Bhagirathpara road are experiencing heavy troubles to cross the road.

Although the MLAs, local leaders prior to Poll promised to resolve local issues, but after winning Polls the MLAs, local leaders could not be traced in the area.
