AGARTALA, Feb 20 (TIWN): GB Hospital is just not suffering from infrastructural crisis and dirty atmosphere, unhygienic conditions but this hospital has been reported for severely suffering due to lack of pure drinking water. It has been known that over last 6 months, massive drinking water crisis is existing in the GB Hospital as the water ATM is left non-functional. Patients parties have expressed extreme disgust over this incident as they are forced to purchase water at high costs from local shops. At the same time, prices of mineral water have also hugely increased.
Earlier in oxygen shortage COVID patients died and then CT Scan, X-Ray, Dialysis each sector had been reported in pathetic condition. Since Biplab Deb himself has taken the charge as Health Ministry sacking the former Health Minister Sudip Roy Barman, such problems are in rise.
CM Biplab Deb alone is holding 27 depts and none is functioing properly.
