AGARTALA, Feb 18 (TIWN): Sumanta Das, resident of Jogendranagar area, committed suicide after consuming poison on last Friday. Later his family took him to GB hospital for treatment. After fighting with death Sumanta died on Wednesday at GB hospital. But the family don’t want autopsy as they said CM, Biplab Kumar Deb said through social media that autopsy is not compulsory.

Later, the on-duty Doctor’s of GB hospital said they would not release the dead body without an autopsy.

Centering this issue the demised family embroiled controversy with Doctors for a long time and chaos generated.
