AGARTALA, Feb 18 (TIWN): Allegation against Durgaynagar, Anganwadi School in-charge house for storing Mid-Day meal items-rice and pulses in School in-charge house illegally.
Durjaaynagar Anganwadi centre’s 200Kg rice was seized from Rakhi Debnath’s house yesterday night.
Though, Rakhi Debnath, in-charge of Durjaynagar Anganwadi centre denied the allegation of rice and pulses theft charges. Also she said that she kept the huge amount of rice in her house with the permission of SMC which is the committee for school management.
On the other side local people detained the school in-charge over suspicion. Locals also wanted investigation should be done, that how the mid-day meal items are kept in School in-charge house? Centering this, chaos generated in the area.
Many have termed this incident as political rivalry.
