AGARTALA, Feb 17 (TIWN): In the Fire Incident at Belonia Vidyapith school, the Class-11 Student who received severe burn injuries was referred to GB hospital but 87% of her body is reported burnt.
She is undergoing tremendous sufferings right now. Tripura Govt representatives met the girl and her family in GB hospital. Govt is bearing her all medical expenditure and asked the medical team to give their full efforts to save this girl.
This incident took place at Belonia Vidyapith HS School. Like all schools, that school's students also organized Saraswati puja.
All students were together, celebrating, taking selfies but suddenly they saw this girl was running and soon they understood that fire gripped her.
The victim Jhum Dey (Class-11 student) was distributing "prasad" among her friends after the puja was over. From the earthen lamp, suddenly fire caught in her saree.
Teachers, students rushed her to the hospital. She has been referred to GB hospital for better treatment, but her condition is critical.
