AGARTALA, Oct 30 (TIWN): By stopping free medicine supplies for dialysis patients, Biplab Deb Govt has put the poor and middle class people under heavy trouble forcing them to purchase all medicines from private shops which is taking up the total bill per dialysis around Rs. 2,500. The kidney patients need 2 or 3 dialysis per week but due to lack of money, it is becoming impossible for them to carry the dialysis expenditure. A daily worker's son with folded hands said in video from GB hospital dialysis centre, "Please Sir save us. We want to live. Here only for medicines, I am bound to spend Rs. 2000 to Rs. 2,500 and then we need around Rs. 500 to Rs. 700 to return home. My father is a daily worker, but I also want to live. When Modi Govt made dialysis free, we got a hope to survive but all facilities are stopped". In GB hospital there is no proper sitting arrangements for the patients and patient parties also in the dialysis centre.
