AGARTALA, Aug 27 (TIWN): Railway Safety’s Chief Commissioner Shailesh Kumar Pathak who has inspected the tracks between Belonia and Sabroom said having an “Outstanding†quality.
Addressing media, Pathak said, “Today we have done the inspection of Railway Tracks between Belonia to Sabroom, which is consisting of 4 stations, having 3 block sections. The terminal section of the inspection was Sabroom and we started from Belonia. The beauty of the section is there is no surface crossing / level crossing and road is cutting across railway lines”.
“This is a great achievement in itself. Now, Railway Dept led by Piyush Goyal has announced that across India level crossing will be removed in next 5 years, but here it has already started. Thus it is just outstanding and also can play role model. Govt of India’s move is already implemented in Tripura and a great work has been done by NFR. NFR deserves compliments from all sections of people for this great achievement”, Pathak said.
