AGARTALA, July 4 (TIWN): Referring the Landslide victory of Modi Govt in 2019 Lok Sabha Election, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb while addressing in the general body meeting of 'Tripura Rajya Mahavidyalaya Shaikshik Sangh' at Sukanta Academy today has slammed opposition parties in India for their propaganda on “†since independence. Deb said, this time PM Modi’s vision of Indian culture has defeated so called secularism.
“The opposition just like salt in each item used Secularism but in this election, they did not talk about secularism. Secularism according to PM Modi is to fight against superstitions and illiteracy just like Raja Ram Mohan Roy and Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar did. In last 5 years only their dedications have been resulted practically as PM Modi has brought their ideologies in action”, said Deb.
“Prime Minister Modi never forced people for Hinduism, neither he preached for forcible worshiping of any religion, but he gained public trust. UP, Rajasthan like states also proved that this country is beyond narrow politics”, he said.
“BJP does not do Geruakaran (Saffronization), this is called Bharataiyakaran (Indianness)”, said Deb.
