AGARTALA, June 16 (TIWN): Tripura’s Dhalai District has been marked as the most fruitful district and also aspirant, the Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Deb informed NITI Aayog regarding the progress of the District on yesterday.

In a Govt press release, it has been said, “As per half-yearly baseline ranking, Dhalai District ranked 74 among 117 Districts. However, in agriculture and water-resources sector the district has been the 3^rd best among all districts”.

On yesterday’s NITI Aayog meet, CM informed the platform that Dhalai District has been bestowed with national awards for its best performance in MGNREGA, Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (GSA) and Poshan Abhiyan schemes in last 3 years.
