AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): 7th Tripura State Rifles (TSR) Commandant Prabir Majumder along with other officers of the headquarter are allegedly torturing jawans.

In such an incident, one jawan Dulal Debnath has filed a case in Sonamura court.

He was brutally tortured after he protested against various indiscipline activities led by the commandant and his colleagues.

 Other accused officials are : Anirban Dhar, Amal Mog, Subedar Raju Ghosh.

The incident took place even after Home Dept recently took action against 12th Bn’s corrupt officers.

The issue of 7th Bn is also now under scanner of the Home Dept.
