AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): In a note of concern, BSF in Tripura said that now a days drug-smugglers are appointing ladies for narcotic business.

BSF headquarter, Salbagan has appealed for more awareness on narcotic consumption dangers in the society.

The statement came from the headquarter after huge numbers of yaba tablets were seized from Batadola border area of Boxonagar in Sonamura subdivision when an unknown lady was smuggling yaba tablets at the Indo-Bangla border.

The lady managed to escape but the seized items’ amounts have been figured out as 4.80 lakhs at least.

The seized yaba tablets have been handedover to Sonamura PS.
