AGARTALA, June 8 (TIWN): Amid concerns over unemployment rate, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Friday while addressing in a political rally in Agartala claimed that unemployment rate has decreased in last one year.
According to Biplab Deb, the unemployment rate has downed from 30% to 22.1%.
On the contrary it is important to mention here that the Central Govt has stopped releasing statewise unemployment data since 2016 and recently a local newspaper in Tripura had published a fake news saying unemployment was downed 8% which is totally manipulating news whereas no organization gave such data.
According to CMIE, this month unemployment rate is 30.2% which is highest in the whole country.
However, Biplab Deb has suggested youths to become job creators rather begging for jobs. He also made it clear that BJP Govt will not give a single job on the basis pollical identity.
Govt has also laid focus on tourism industry development and announced special relaxations for businessmen and interested investors. Govt is focusing also on agriculture.
