AGARTALA, May 29 (TIWN): With a tough time for the Govt and the College authority the state Veterinary college students have decided to stop all the admissions for the new academic session, unless and until their College manages its affiliation and passed out and continuing students registrations.
Generally talented students via Joint entrance exams make place in that College but after four years of degree, they students are said they can’t have registration as their College have no registration. It spoils lives and careers of those students.
“As we don’t have registration and our seniors too, so we can not allow the College authority to destroy more students futures. So, we will simply stop the admission process”, one of the passed out students told TIWN.
Following the strike, when govt officials had visited the College, the students denied to withdraw the strike asking to assure guarantee of the future. Many students here belong to poor families but due to lack of registration numbers the passed out students are unable even to continue their practices in private fields’.
When the Joint Director met the students the students also asked him, how a passed out student can upgrade their knowledge and keep their learnt theories in brain unless they are able to work in a private or govt sector.
