AGARTALA, March 30 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb today during Pradhan Mantri Ujjala Yojana programme conducted at Rabindra Bhawan zone, said that Modi Govt is 'poor people's govt and Ujjaya Yojan is one example of it.
CM was addressing in Pradhan Mantri Ujjala Yojna progrmme at Agartala in the presence of Minister N C Debbarma, Minister Manoj Kanti Deb, Chief Secretary Sanjeev Ranjan.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi extolled the virtues of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, which offers free gas connections to the rural poor”, Deb said.
“Before Narendra Modi nobody thought about the living condition for a poor woman, who uses a stove to cook food and spends her entire life in that smoke”.
“PM Modi said, her ease of living is possible if he can free her from that smoke and thus he took the big step of Ujjwala”, Biplab Deb said.
