AGARTALA, March 27 (TIWN): The much famous Agartala Book Fair which will be continued for 12 days from this year, will begin from 2nd April and preparation for the 12 day long book fair’s inauguration on peak at there.
Workers are busy whole day at the Children park preparing the book stalls at there. Chief Minister Biplab Deb for the first time as Tripura-CM will inaugurate the Agartala Book fair.
On March 17, Chief Minister Biplab Deb in a meeting with his Ministers, MLAs and other high officials of Education, AMC depts had decided that.
Agartala book-fair is widely known and always are being participated by huge numbers of foreign businessmen.
The first Agartala Book Fair held was held in 1981 and since then the scenario of publishing started to change very rapidly.
Along with the common people, various schools, colleges, institutes, libraries and academic centers also collected books in bulk from the fair.
