AGARTALA, March 26 (TIWN): After losing 'patience' at the Assembly,Tripura BJP Minister Sudip Barman today has called Ex-Minister Badal Choudhury as ‘mental patient’, when Badal Choudhury was delivering speech at the Assembly accusing central govt for depriving Tripura in fund-sharing when CPI-M was in Tripura. Badal Choudhury was mentioning about 7th pay commission and claimed that CPI-M Govt also demanded 7th pay commission from the centre, but the budget was ‘insufficient’. In reply, Sudip Barman said, “I knew Badal Choudhury is a Heart patient, but never knew, he is also a Mental Patient” ! “According to you, DA means 7th Pay Commission and till day there was no attempt of 7th pay commission and today your are claiming for demanding 7 pay commission !”, said Barman.

Choudhury also mentioned, BJP Govt can't produce much revenue. In reply, Jishnu Debbarma said, "What you know about economics. In last 25 years, only scams and corruptions were held by your govt". 

Reacting over the charges brought by BJP Govt against its previous CPI-M Govt, Tripura CPI-M MLA Badal Choudhury while addressing in the Assembly said, “Why don’t you run Investigation against CPI-M’s corruptions ?”

 “We have all calculations, what we have done and what we have not ! Run investigation against us if you can....”, Badal Choudhury challenged. 

“Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma himself accepted the fund-debacle with central govt. Under planning commission, our govt could place the demands earlier, but today due to the planning commission’s abolition, funding for Tripura has become tough. Now BJP itself has accepted the fact by Tripura Govt press release”, Badal Choudhury said.
