AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): Forest Dept has raided today in a furniture maker’s home with allegation of illegal wood purchasing.
The businessman has been identified as Khokon Mia, resident of Charipara in Agartala.
The worth of the seized woods from his house will be at least Rs. 2 lakhs. However, the exact amount yet to be declared officially.
Khokon Mia couldn’t be arrested, as before police catch him, he managed to escape from the spot.
