AGARTALA, March 2 (TIWN): Tripura's incumbent CPI-M Minister Khagendra Jamatia has breathed his last at Delhi AIIMS hospital at 5 AM.

Minister Khagenra Jamatia was suffering from serious disease since few days, but even after admitting him in the first referral hospital of Tripura GB hospital, the doctors failed to recover him and thus finally Jamatia was referred to Delhi AIIMS hospital on Feb 22, but died today early morning.

Khagendra Jamtia has also been candidate in the last Assembly poll held on February 18 from Krishnapur constituency.

The Minister was holding 3 Departments as follows :

3.Home (Fire service)
