AGARTALA, Jan 11 (TIWN): After the murder incident of Chittaranjan Club area, opposition BJP has demanded Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's statement on the increasing murders in Tripura in Talibani model. One 45 years man named Gautam Sarkar was killed brutally at Moror Stand area lined Chittaranjan club zone, which is just on the heart of Capital City Agartala, but whether the murder was taken place in that particular spot or not, it's not clear yet. BJP State President Biplab Deb has claimed that after cutting nerves, the mafias dropped hot-boiled plastic over the injury. Addressing a press meet, Biplab Deb said, "Tripura is witnessing one after one Talibani murders and this time it's at Minister Manik Dey's constituency. But what sterns us is that Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is totally silent after such Talibani murders, even though he is also the Home Minister. CM must give a statement on it".

Noteworthy, the brutal murder in the heart of the capital city which has triggered tension among the locals is an anti-CPI(M) party activist, but exactly in which party Gautam Sarkar was  working it's not clear yet.  Whether it's a political murder or not, it's also beyond trace of police.

Severe injuries were found on the dead body, whereas his head was smashed with bricks.

The opposition leader Biplab Deb further said, "Like Sunil Dey, Gaur Hari Mulsum the brutal murders are happening everyday, but no punishment, no justice at all. Murderers names are kept hidden with police's inactive role. Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is totally silent on this issue. We hope, Central Home Ministry's eyes are on this serious law and order crisis situation of Tripura".
