TIWN Dec 28, 2017
AGARTALA, Dec 28 (TIWN): Again TIWN was first to publish Himanta Biswa Sarma’s warning to Manik Sarkar for sending him to Bangladesh by BJP activists if the murders and rapes are not stopped. But CPI-M’s press release has lied that Himanta Biswa Sarma threatened all CPI-M activists to send to Bangladesh. What the Assam Minister said it is, “Since years you (CPI-M) are raping our activists, you are killing us and CM Manik Sarkar is silently supporting it. But what happened ? You killed one person and BJP got lakhs of supports. If in this manner you continue to kills us, we will unseat Manik Sarkar and saying Bharat Mata Ki Joy we will send you (Manik Sarkar) to Bangladesh from Tripura. We will not be afraid of youâ€.
But CPI-M manipulating his speech said that not only CM but Himanta Biswa Sarma said all CPI-Ms to be send to Bangladesh, just to fool all CPI-Ms to woo their sympathy. However, storms of controversy had begun with Himanta Biswa Sarma’s speech already but how far it can repair the damage done by CPI-M MP Jharna Das Baidya it’s to be seen.
Noteworthy, Assam BJP Minister cum Tripura BJP In-charge Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday while delivering speech at Manik Sarkar's constituency Dhanpur, said that BJP will send Manik Sarkar to Bangladesh, if the increasing murders, rapes are not stopped immediately here. Pinching at Manik Sarkar's clean image, Sarma said, "Your clean image will be punctured. Election 2018's result will give you the answer, but immediately the law and order should be controlled". "If CPI-M kills one BJP activist, then lakhs of BJP activists will grow, if one BJP women activist is raped then all mothers, sisters will come on road. So immediately stop all these or we will send you to Bangladesh", added Sarma.
