AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): Once again Tripura has witnessed CPI-M led massive violence at Aralaia on Sunday late night. Jiban Mia, BJP’s Minority Morcha leader was attacked by CPI-M cadres as part of revenging his BJP joining. But, since the morning CPI-M came in protest with red-flags in hands dumping all blames upon BJP. However, on Monday 2 PM BJP activists hit the Aralia road with protest roars voicing against CPI-M’s red-terror. The CPI-M party is allegedly attacking upon the Muslim Community through out the state, especially those who are joining in other parties, especially BJP. Amidst attempts of carrying Muslim vote banks, a good number of Muslim people are joining BJP through various programmes and it had hit the CPI-M’s vote banks, increasing worries about the upcoming Election. Aralia’s yesterday’s incident is same where CPI-M cadres attacked Jiban Mia and his family members and also tried to burnt his home.

The CBI-M activists led by Hallal Mia also assaulted Jiban Mia's wife, looted Rs. 10000 from their home. 5 persons are admitted in hospital now. 

This incident is nothing new as the pre-poll violence of Manik Sarkar’s era began since 2 years. In the Assembly, Manik Sarkar told all political parties to hold the peace, but when it comes about own party, Sarkar has no control.

On Nov 10, another violence had taken place at Pandabpur Panchayat of Bishalgarh. Atleast 16 people have been injured in the open attack upon BJP activists including girls, women.  

BJP Observer Sunil Deodhar said, “BJP had successfully conducted a Pristha-Promukh programme which gathered 600 activists of BJP successfully. When the activists were returning home, CPI-M cadres attacked a women andwhen Yuva Morcha people went to see her, CPI-M had attacked upon them too. When all had been hospitalized, above 100 of Marxbadi Gunda attacked them, gheraoed the hospital. Police is saying that they are trying to push back the CPI-M activists, but even after continuously telling the SP, he came after 1 hour. This happening everyday in Tripura, here and there”.

"What is going on in Tripura it can not be called Marxbad. This is not Marxbad, but Mafiabad under Manik Sarkar's blessing”, said Deodhar.
