AGARTALA, Oct 29 (TIWN): When allegations continued by the state CPI-M leaders for depriving Tripura with various Railway projects, Tripura Governor Tathagta Roy had thrown a sharp attack to shut their political boomerang.
Tathagata Roy said, “In such a programme, don’t you feel proud ? I feel proud” !
“BG in Tripura is itself a surprise, when it’s within such a short period of time. It took 53 years after independence to get a meter gauge connectivity till Agartala which came in 1998 but now not only BG but Tripura having Rajdhani, which is unbelievable”, said Roy.
Even though not a single appreciation was dedicated for the Central Minister, but CPI-M's all Minister had been mentioning "Dasarath Deb was MP in 1952 to raise railway demand then at the Parliament".
Tathagata Roy asked the CPI-M MP and Ministers (Manik Dey, Badal Chowdhury, MP Sankar Prasad Dutta, MP Jiten Chowdhury), "Railway movement since 1952 is alright but why it took 70 years fulfill the demands ? It proves, not only movement but the perspective and attitudes towards development actually matters".
