AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): Once again CPI-M' s anti-national face exposed as Chief Minister cum Home Minister failed to condemn brutal attack by CPI-M backed cross border smuggling gangs on BSF officer Dipak Mandal. Manik wasted no time in shedding tears for unknowns like Rohit Vemula or Gauri Lankesh as they were left activists but wily CM has no time for nations brave soldiers like BSF officer.Governor Tathagata Roy has expressed concern about the attack on BSF Deputy Commandant by organized cattle smugglers at Sonamura. Condemning the attack upon the jawan, Roy tweeted, "BSF Officer Deepak Mandal hit by cattle smugglers near Sonamura,Tripura. In Medica Hospital,Kolkata, deep coma, multiple haemorrage in brain". But being the Home Minister Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is just silent about the attack held upon the BSF officer.

From independent day speech to everywhere Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's topic of discussion begins with Go-Raksha but when the cattle smugglers have led a BSF officer at coma, the Chief Minister is just silent. The BSF Officer Dipak Mandal who was injured while counter attacking cattle smugglers at Sonamura, is left in deep coma, a BSF Official said.

Presently, Mandal is undergoing treatment at Medica Hospital, suffering from multiple haemorrage in brain.

The cattle smugglers attacked a Border Security Force (BSF) commanding officer along the Indo-Bangla border in Tripura in the early hours on Monday.

He was patrolling the area with his team to check cattle smuggling and other illegal activities along the international border which is “unfenced” . Mondal saw some cattle smugglers and challenged them, he said, adding the officer along with his guard and driver tried to stop them.

The group of about 25 smugglers were carrying bricks, lathis and machetes. When challenged, the smugglers tried to gherao the officer and the patrol party. Smugglers’ vehicle hit the officer from behind and he sustained severe injury to his head.

Manik Sarkar  and his whole cabinet always hit Go-Raksha term to mock the RSS, BJP, VHP but they never utter words against Cattle smuggling which is a dark reality of Tripura’s Indo-Bangla border zone areas. The CPI-Ms are also silent when SP BSF Deputy Commandant of 145 Btn Dipak Kumar Mandal has been critically injured by Sonamura based smugglers on Monday. However, smugglers existence has been proven as SP Sepahijala Sudipta Das himself has accepted it.

On the other side, SP Sephanijala is unready to mention any person's names in Kalapania's incident which injured Dipak Kumar very seriously.  Tripura has become a narcotic den, which was reported by TIWN constantly. Even on Sunday evening 2 culprits were arrested while smuggling a camel. Moreover, when BSF is taking actions they are suppressed by various false cases. Ganjas are produced openly at Sonamura like tea gardens but due to lack of actions and nexus with smugglers state Tripura has turned jus as a Narcotic den for criminals.
