AGARTALA, Sep 26 (TIWN): Manik Sarkar’s fear for CBI investigation once again exposed CPI-M’s communal politics before upcoming 2018 Assembly election. On the fateful day on Sept 20, in front of many Police officials including SP and senior officials, Santanu Bhowmik was murdered, not only that Santanu’s bleeding body was kept for an hour and half on ground, no promptness was observed in saving Santanu’s life, even Police kept their feet over Santanu’s dying body as he was being transported to Hospital. CPI-M controlled Police's action was heavily intended to see that Santanu dies finally so that communist party can do politics by triggering Bengali-Tribal divisive vote bank card.Throughout the murder and mass beating, Police remained mute spectator as CPI-M wanted a Bengali victim to die so that communal unrest can be created by dumping blame to IPFT, also adding BJP’s name as co-conspirator.

As per on-spot eyewitnesses and TIWN sources, after GMP and IPFT clashes, CPI-M’s trade union CITU blocked road even though section 144 was in place, beat locals to create communal unrest which finally fueled unrest and killed Journalist SantanuBhowmik.

After IPFT and GMP clashes at Jirania following GMP rally of Astabol, what was the necessity of road blockade by CITU ?? On Sep-20 morning (The day of Santanu's murder) at 9 AM, a Khowai TIWN source called TIWN correspondent and informed CITU has blocked roads and halted the movements of all office goers. TIWN Office also confirmed about the road-block through SP Khowai. Soon, amidst of 144 section’s implementation, CITU cadres in front of police was beating local people, vandalizing vehicles.

Santanu’s murder by mistake by CPI-M goons thinking him as just another  ‘Bengali’ may be turn heavy for CPI-M in coming days and that’s the reason CPI-M has gone it’s extreme to stop CBI’s entrance in state.

After that CITU led by MP Shankar Prasad Dutta has placed deputation to DGP A K Sukla, demanding action against Tuesday's incident when IPFT allegedly attacked GMP members. Demand also raised to ensure future security.

SP Nagendra Debbarma had called for an urgent meeting after CITU members along with other local CPI-M supporters had blocked Khowai-Agartala road on Sept 20. Local people on site alleged that reacting over GMP-IPFT clash, CPI-M have beaten locals, held attacks upon cars, bikes and 'beaten the severely'.

Soon, a road blockade has paralyzed the National Highway at there led by CITU. The blockade immediately had called massive traffic jams and miseries to the common men. Talking to TIWN SP Khowai Nagendra Jamatia has confirmed about the road blockade and for that immediately a meeting was called at SP Office.

When journalist blasted Manik Sarkar’s puppet ICA Minister BhanulalSaha asking how amidst section-144 SantanuBhhowmikwas killed, the minister couldn’t answer.

Before leaving MinisterBhanulalSaha’s chamber Journalists openly said, “Police killed Santanu and after that realized they killed a wrong person”.

Thatswhy Tripura Police Minister Manik Sarkar scared to call for CBI investigation as an impartial CBI investigation would expose CPI-M’s ‘murder-politics’, also will send many top leaders behind bars.

TIWN’s open challenge to Chief Minister Manik Sarkar to call for an immediate CBI investigation if CM thinks that his party is clean rather than hiding under false IPFT stories and State controlled Police protection.
