AGARTALA, Aug 29 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M Govt is no more taking risks of challenging the demands of the Forest Dept Employees. Whereas since 10-15 years of working the Forest Dept employees had not been regularized even after multiple protests, when the employees sat in ‘Huger-Strike-till-Death’ immediately the state govt has announced to regularize them from Sept-5. Almost a green signal has been given about the 363 employees regularization after 4 hrs they sat in hunger strike. The huger strike started to threaten the Tripura Govt after SSA teachers had continued 7 day long hunger strike in demand of regularization. But when the Forest Dept Employees have been regularized, the SSAs are still deprived. Both of these section of employees (Forest and SSA) claimed that State Govt is hiding various issues and if the state govt wants it can regularize them in a day. Most surprisingly, the in case of SSAs, the Tripura Govt did the most unlawful activity. The Govt has been bringining funds from the Central Govt in the name of SSA teachers at regular scale but in state they are said as ‘irregular employees’ reslting mass looting of teachers salaries.

However, the Forest Dept casual employees are happy with the state govt’s decision.

Tripura Forest Dept employees at last had sat in hunger strike in demand of being regularized since the morrning. The agitators also have blocked the forest office’s main gate not allowing anybody to enter the office.

The agitators said said, “The Central Govt in 2016 via a notification strictly told Tripura Govt that it has to follow the guidelines of the Central regularization policy. But the state govt has not regularized us till day”.

However, at last Tripura Govt has given a green signal of their regularization. But at the same time SSA, RMSA teachers are yet deprived.
