AGARTALA, July 29 (TIWN): ED has attached more 300 crores of assets with Rose Valley but ED yet to attach Tripura's properties under Rose Valley as well as cash-values that were developed by this small state's big figures as Goutam Das, Bijita Nath, allegedly by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar himself who opened the entertainment park of Rose Valley in Tripura with his own hands. Bijita Nath called herself just a 'Chunoputi' (means a small fish) after CBI had interrogated her in her chamber for her alleged involvement in Rose Valley scam. Blasting media Bijita Nath said, "You people have made a Chunoputi like me so famous by making spicy stories out of Rose Valley scam. Thank You all". The irony of ChunoPuti is that Bijita Nath who defined to CBI that during Rose Valley savings she was unemployed and thus she had not much knowledge about all these things, but in 5 years the Chuno Puti's propertly has been tripled and by fortune North Tripura has turned her daily route via heli-rides.

This is the same minister who was called by tax offices for various mismatched with her property. Oppositions also raised question, how in 5 years Nath's property can develop so fast ? However ED has attached on Saturday more values to the Rose Valley assets, those are likely to be more when Tripura’s property will be added.

Till 2017 Tripura’s Rose Valley companies remained unsealed with a quite surprise but with the fear of CBI, ED recently these properties have been sealed by Govt of Tripura.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached Rs 300 crore assets of Rose Valley group in its ongoing probe against the chit fund company for money laundering, an official said on Saturday.

The ED investigation revealed that Rose Valley group of companies collected more than Rs 17,000 crore from the public at large throughout India by luring depositors with false promise of high return or interest on their deposits.

"Around Rs 8,600 crore remain outstanding to the public by the company which diverted and siphoned the amount through cheating and has no real business to repay this amount," an ED official said.

The official said the ED had earlier attached Rose Valley's property having market value of around Rs 1,650 crore which includes several hotels, vehicles, land and cash amounting to around Rs 350 crore.

"With this attachment, the total market value of properties attached in Rose Valley group of company cases has reached around Rs 1,950 crore," he added.

A 24 years of constant CPI-M regime even though could not increased state's GDP but property values are attractive. However, here only disclosed property values have been shown, whereas around Rs. 5 lakhs of tax Minister Bijita Nath pays at official announcement.

But, Minister Bijita Nath who is now the prime accused of consuming a lot of cashes from Rose Valley Chit Fund company could not hide her frustration anymore when media interrogated her about CBI's questioning matters with her for more than an hour.

But Minister Bijita Nath's main grudge was not against opposition leaders but it was media whom she targeted.

She was also frustrated with the leakage of CBI's notice given to her. 'How media get that notice ?', Nath asked.

'Media need a model to run the business and now I am the model for them. It's good because due to media I have been popularized. Before this event I was just a Chuno-Puti', said Nath.

'Not only in Tripura, but people today know me outside Tripura. Thank You All for highlighting a Chuno-Puti like me', said the Minister.
