AGARATAL, July 17 (TIWN): Tripura opposition leader BJP State Observer, Sunil Deodhar on Monday said, "Tripura Chief Minister on Sunday called a press meet at his residence dumping all responsibilities on Central Home Minister Rajnath Singh. But this responsibility is never belonged to the Central Govt as law and order dept fully goes under state govt". "I also had talked to Rajnath Singh and he told me that Manik Sarkar called him to let him know about the blockade and asked Rajnath Singh to handle the issue. Rajnath Ji told me I did not reply Manik Sarkar anything, but I just listened what he said", Deodhar added. "When 38 lakhs of your people are suffering from the blockade being the home minister you why you need Rajnath Singh ? Rajnath Singh did not give permission for the blockade, so he has no function here", Deodhar said."This blockade is fully funded by CPI-M, but Manik Sarkar here fooling the people saying he talked to the central govt", said Deodhar. About IPFT's demand, Deodhar said, "We said thousand times we do not need ant Tipraland demand in this small state and Central also said the same".

"State Council will be better for them as Dima Hasao district, Bod land was made regional as there are various places lived by Bodos. Tripura is also a mixed land thus State Council will be ideal for them", said the leader.

"Autonomous State is also not possible, but under the 6th schedule we want to give that demand to the indigenous people. PM Modi also wants the losses were done with tribals should be recovered", said Deodhar.

Asking about BJP/ IPFT nexus, Deodhar said, "Is there BJP Govt ? There is CPI-M Govt. and fooding to loading all are supplied to them  by the ruling govt. If not so, why the blockade was permitted ?"

"Because of Manik Sarkar's foolishness, anti-tribal policy suc things are happening", Deodhar added.

Clarifying further that the Tipraland issue belongs to state govt, Deodhar said, "Only after passing the bill in the Assembly the demand will raise before the Central Govt. Moreover, law and order is in his hand, Rajnath Ji will not come here. If Central has to take action, then Manik Sarkar has to send a letter to Centre demanding presidential rule".
