UDAIPUR, July 31(TIWN): Reacting to 19th July incident, in which three persons were killed and two others were injured when a police vehicle TR03-0986 driven by an intoxicated ASI Tapan Das, top level police officials have taken a serious note.

On 28th July Officer In charge of Radhakishorepur Police Station Kanti Lal Baidya has been transferred to Bishalgarh Police Station and Officer In Charge of Bishalgarh Police station has been apponited as Officer In Charge of Radhakiahorepur PoliceStation. The order is issued on 28th July from the Police Head Quarter(PHQ), Agartala.  

    According to a top official in the PHQ the order PIGOS/INSPECTOR/08 was issued on 28th July under Memo No-29497-504. From the time the state govt ordered a Magistrate Level Enquiry it was obviius that transfer of such officials is a must. But whether CID ENQUIRY WILL act as a guard against such allegations is still to be answered. It is also learnt  that Dioendu Roy is asked to join his new service by 31st August. Ever since the killing of three persons the transfer issue is checking around Udaipur.

     People also demanded the transfer of SP Gomati Thirungana Sambandhan S whose negative approach has invited such unrully situation. However, TIWN source confirms that transfer order of SP Gomati is expecting to come out shortly. It is to be remembered that state govt has not  taken any step in providing compensation to the victims' families.
