AGARTALA, March 18 (TIWN): Tripura witnessed ugly eye of radical islamists as hundreds of jihadi sympathizers paralyzed Agartala Court premises when police were taking the terrorists to CJM Court, Agartala. Habib Mia’s Islamic jihadi supporters took full advantage of Manik Sarkar’s ‘mute spectator’ Police force as jihadis claimed that Habib has no link with any terror group, but Bengaluru police are unnecessarily accusing him and taking to Bengaluru. However, Benagluru police sought his discharge from East Agartala PS as soon as possible so that the police can take them to Bengaluru. Tense situation prevailed in Court premises as jihadi elements threatened security forces, court officials and demanded Habib's release.

Terrorist Habib's relatives also attempted to break law & order  in the CJM court.

Reportedly, Habib was arrested by East Agartala police on Monday in relation of Bengaluru's Indian Institute of Science (IIS) attack.

Habib is a resident Mia Para, Jogendra Nagar. Shooting took place on Wednesday, 28 December 2005 at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc)  Bangalore, killing Prof. Munish Chandra Puri of IIT Delhi and injuring four, after two or more unidentified gunmen fired at Puri and others.

Karnataka State Govt declared the jihadi shooting as a terrorist attack, making it the first such attack in Bangalore. At around 7:00 pm local time (1:30 pm GMT), two people entered the IISc campus in a white  Ambassador car. At around 7:20 pm when delegates attending the International Conference on Operations Research.

"Applications in Infrastructure Development", organised by the Operations Research Science of India at the JN TATA auditorium on the IISc campus, were heading to dinner when the shooting began. Two gunmen, wearing black masks and army uniforms, started firing indiscriminately from a rifle, thought to be a Chinese type-56, outside the auditorium.

Habib after 12 yrs of the attack was arrested on Friday. Police source said, "The Karnataka ATS personnel, with the help of Tripura Police, arrested terror suspect Habib Mia, 37, from Jogendranagar on the outskirts of Agartala".Habib Mia is scheduled to be  taken to Bengaluru within 4 days.

It's worthy mention here that back in 2008, it was West Bengal Police CID team which exposed that Minister Shahid Chowdury was having liaison with HUJI Terrorist Mamun. Shahid arranged a rented house for Mamun Mia in Agartala, helped Bangladeshi terrorist in getting Permanent Resident Certificate and Passport. Shahid Chowdhury and his wife were frequent visitors in Mamun’s rented shelter in Agartala.

Its West Bengal Police CID team which tracked HUJI terrorist Mamun Miah’s nexus with Minister Shahid Chowdhury, arrested Maun Miah on March 27, 2008; otherwise Manik Sarkar’s Tripura Police wouldn’t have touched this HUJI terrorist and his relative Minister Shahid Chowdhury.

Due to national and statewide public protests, Manik Sarkar was compelled to axe Shahid Chowdhury from Tripura Cabinet in 2008 to save CPI-M’s face. Shahid Chowdhury was having relations with members of global terrorist organisations, Al Qaeda and Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami, Bangladesh (HUJI).

However Manik Sarkar’s mutual admiration for Shahid Chowdhury never faded so CM Manik brought back Shahid Chowdhuty into cabinet in 2013 as Sports Minister.

CPI-M's active backing of Islamic fundamentalists and their underground activities raising alarms in central intelliegence agencies.
