AGARTALA, Jan 24 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M Govt’s massive central fund embezzlements caught Central Govt’s attention for corruption-laden implementation of Housing schemes under PMAY schemes in Tripura. After State BJP reported to Union Ministry about the bogus beneficiaries listed under PMAY scheme,Tripura Trinamool also reported to the Central RD Ministry about the same issue of CPI-M’s lootings. PMAY corruption have turned heavy on Tripura Govt, as Centre has asked Chief Secretary to send DPR (detailed project report) about the PMAY scheme’s implementation in Tripura. Tripura Govt has not uploaded anything in brief in its websites too, whereas a confusion has been created among the common people about PMAY scheme. Talking to the media, BJP State President Biplab Deb said, “For rural areas the Central Govt is sanction rupees 1.30 lakhs and for urban bodies the amount per houses giving by Central Govt is 1.50 lakhs".

"As the urban bodies demand is high, so the amount has also been increased there. But on 2nd Sept. the Central Urban Development Minister has received the bogus name list under PMAY scheme in Tripura and as a result the frauds done under PMAY scheme has been come out”, said Deb.

Biplab Deb further claimed that he met the RS ministry  Joint Secretary and notified him about Tripura’s corruption across urban and rural bodies .

Following these developments, already Chief Secretary has been asked to send a DPR about the PMAY scheme’s implementation. Deb also said that all the false names included by CPI-M even, who are having 2 storied buildings will be cancelled soon.

As per the census held in 2011 across whole India on the basis of Socio-Economic-Cast-Census (SECC) the PMAY scheme was decided to distribute. But instead of cast-basis, social-need basis the PMAY beneficiaries names are listed in Tripura.

As per Trinamool’s allegation under Juvaraj Nagar Block there are 58 Gram Panchayats, where in the name of Housing Loans atleast Rs. 3030 lakhs rupees was sanctioned from the Centre, whereas among the 3367 beneficiaries, total 2331 people do not exist and their names are bogus.

Then, apart from TMC, BJP opposition Congress hits AMC Office, alleges massive corruption, embezzlement with Central funds under CPI-M Govt.

BJP further claims the 60 % of the name submitted in the beneficiary list are fake.

After that BJP began its own survey on PMAY and also asked the aspirants to submit their forms in detail at BJP Office, so that they can apply it directly via online. The form can be apply via online but the Govt also taking no initiative to aware the people about PMAY scheme’s opportunities.

It was said in PMAY scheme that “At the slum decadal growth rate of 34%, the slum households are projected to go upto 18 million. 2 million non-slum urban poor households are proposed to be covered under the Mission. Hence, total housing shortage envisaged to be addressed through the new mission is 20 million”.

Without making the common people aware about the scheme beneficiaries were selected as per wish of the CPI-M cadres. On 17th June 2015 the Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave its approval for the launch of “Housing for All by 2022”—but alas ! in such a corrupted state the scheme  is not utilizing in fair manner as the govt. is silent against such issues
