‘Demonetization’ hits CPI-M, Congress in Tripura : Rival parties reeling under 'ties' in Anti-Modi propaganda centering ‘Note-Ban’

AGARTALA, Jan 23 (TIWN): Ensuring CPI-M’s victory in Assembly Election 2018, the opposition Congress is now busy in Anti-Modi propagation in Tripura. Whereas ahead of Election, BJP and Trinamool all are busy to strengthen the party power issuing Chit Fund, MGNREGA scams and various corruption held by ruling CPI-M the Congress is hanging with Anti-Demonetization protests. In a blood donation camp organized by Udichi Club at Agartala, Congress MLA Gopal Roy and CPI-M CM Minister Manik Sarkar not only shared the dais but also shared similar views on ‘demonetization’. Referring Netaji’s 120th birth anniversary Manik Sarkar said that the Country yet to receive total independence as the Central Govt led by PM Modi has handed over the Country to the Capitalists. Sarkar said that due to demonetization 20 lakh people lost their jobs and this demonetization only remained helpful for the Capitalists.

“Demonetization failed to fulfill any of the objectives which Modi promised to do; neither Modi Govt is disclosing how far currencies have been deposited. The govt is hiding the whole amounts received by banks, so that it can tell the pubic a well plotted story about demonetization-sucess in coming days”, said Sarkar. He further alleged that to hack the public money via bank, this step was taken and in coming days money withdrawal will become more tough.

“In top most economist countries like America, which is considered for  achieving the highest economic growth, there also 44 to 47 % transactions are based on Cashes, whereas in China it’s 30-35 % and in India 90 %”, said Sarkar.

“The decision taken by Modi with the advise of NITI Aayog is fully unrealistic. I’m not opposing the demonetization step, but it was done without planning”, Sarkar said.

“The issue from black money has turned into cashless-society, as the Govt has failed to curb black money. Not only this govt. but the earlier Govt also whose Prime Minister himself was an great economist had failed to solve the problem”, Sarkar said. “Communists economic policy is not like them, but unfortunately, nobody followed our policy”, he added.

“India has only 5 % black money, which would not be more than 1 lakh crore. So why much pain with this 1 lakh  crore? Prime Minister sought 50 days, Finance Minister sought 6 months… and now you are moving for ‘cashless’..? but where is black money?”, Sarkar said.

As per RBI record a week back 84 % has been deposited but what about circulation of the deposited money? Corruption, taxation all these terms are using to hold money in banks, but all are old notes? Banks are actually the den of corruption and via banks all the corruptions are happening.

It can be mentioned here that When demonetization is done successfully and the period of demonetization ended on Dec 31st, the CPI-M and Congress are busy in Anti-Demonetization protest. CPI-M has nation-wide called for a 5 day long protest which is scheduled to begin from January 27, almost 1 month of Post-Demonetization. A survey said that the minimum supports from public from each and every states is atleast 72 % whereas the support level has be up to 92 %.

Moreover, Congress has already labeled PM Modi as a “Fraud” in this regard. But the ultimate question is that Tripura Congress and CPI-M have remained as ever green friends in Tripura which is helping the ruling CPI-M to stay in power since 23 years.
