AGARTALA, Jan 22 (TIWN): In a reaction against Rose Valley property seizing, Trinamool MLA Asish Saha said that CBI inquiry is the one and only demand of Opposition Trinamool as without CBI inquiry CPI-M’s scandals will never come out. ‘Why properties under Rose Valley has been seized after so many years and what about other chit fund groups in Tripura. Like Rose Valley other Chit Fund groups are also dominating the state till day, whereas no action is taking against them’, said Asish Saha. ‘Tripura Govt as a part of trick sent 5 names to CBI among them 3 were of Rose Valley with a very less amount, which was naturally rejected by CBI. After that amidst oppositions protest the Chit Fund companies were doing free business here, but now when CBI inquiry is threatening the State Govt, so it has seized the property as a part of drama, so that they can maintain a clean image’.Saha also referred CM’s statement at Assembly about Rose Valley where he denied to give any statement about this, neither the Finance Dept announced the total money trapped under Chit Fund companies.

However, apart from TMC, other opposition parties also raising various questions about Chit Fund issues in Tripura after the property seized. Moreover, SIT has to answer in HC very soon regarding rose Valley and if SIT again fails then HC may transfer the case to CBI.

May be this is the reason behind the sudden actions against Rose Valley.

Whereas Tripura Govt always ignored the Rose Valley group of agency to bring under any investigation,

then why among 70 chit fund rows in Tripura, the state govt has become concern about only Rose Valley depositors also as they were also called by CID recently.

On last 12th May, 2013, total 10 reports were sent to CBI for inquiry, among them 3 reports only belonged to the Rose Valley among them in one report was sent without any data & the rest of 2 were sent by Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 5,400’s amount. Then CBI seeing the total amount of Rs. 15,400 declined to take the case and replied this small amount will not come under CBI inquiry.

Then in that last Assembly, Manik Sarkar told the opposition, “……please keep patience in Chit fund case. We have to figure out the whole amount which has been looted by the chit fund companies from the common people’.

However after 5-6 yrs of passage now the CID has called upon the depositors to submit documents whereas what will be done with those documents, it’s not clear.

Rose Valley is  7 times more ponzi scam than Sarada and country’s highest ever chit fund group, but eventhough opposition party’s raised voice to run direct CBI investigation in Tripura Rose Valley scam, but at the ruling showed never interest in it, rather it preferred Tripura Police, SIT in it.

After the failure of Tripura Police, High Court ordered SIT to submit fresh report on the chit fund scams. But crossing the last date for submission of  chargesheet, SIT has miserably shown its capacity for investigation. Day by day the data, sources are losing but Tripura Govt is happy with the slow progress of SIT investigation.

But presently no action is taking against Tripura’s massive chit fund frauds as SIT again fails to submit chargesheet on July 31st  at High Court.  Now as a part of Next hearing where SIT’s report will depend a lot about whether CBI inquiry is held in Tripura or not.
