AGARTALA, Dec 4 (TIWN): Manik Sarkar’s bluff of fooling State media was exposed when BJP national leaders exposed CM’s hollow claims on Saturday. At BJP Press meet, National leader ShrutiBangaruLaxmi clearly said, “Whatever PM Modi advised the Finance Minister, it has to be followed and on that day PM Modi asked the Union Finance Minister to consult with all state’s Chief Ministers about the cashless move which the govt has taken for the betterment of economy. The invitation was sent to every State CMs, but nothing to bluff much about it that Union Finance Minister Jaitley was bragging for Manik Sarkar’s inclusion in national committee”.“If Manik Sarkar is claiming such independently this is nothing but all are bluffing”, Laxmi added. It’s worthy to mention here that Tripura CM Manik Sarkar on Nov 29 called a press meet at Secretariat and claimed that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Finance Minister requested him to be a part of the central committee which would deal with the Cash-less society’s planning for India’s future.

CM further described in vivid how many calls came and go and how wisely CM sacrificed the central committee position for the sake of his policy. 

CM said he tried to deny the proposal by saying that he is not technically expert and how Jaitley was requesting him to become a member of the committee.

“When I again rejected Mr. Jaitley said, you do not have to do anything but many expert will be there who will suggest you about cashless economy”, said Sarkar. 

When media asked him why CM didn’t become a part of the committee as it could diminish the problem in his state, Sarkar replied, “It will create confusion in public’s mind. You won self will be confused that the same person called strike and now he is joining in Central Committee. Thinking all these I decided that and politely told Arun  Jailtely ‘Please don’t min I can’t be a member in that”.

However, the BJP central leader ShrutiBangaruLaxmi rubbishes all the claims done by CM and said that the Finance Minister’s call was to all CMs, Manik Sarkar is also a part of all Chief Ministers.
