AGARTALA, Dec 4 (TIWN): In a shocking revelation exposed that CPI-M rules Tripura’s GDP growth rate is only 7 %, which is the lowest in the whole country even worse than Jharkhand and any North Eastern States. Whereas during the 11th Convention of Tripura UpajaitiKarmachari Committee Tripura CM gave a one & half hours long speech to teach how to develop the economy of the country and how to increase the country made source of income on the same day a national BJP leader ShrutiBangaruLaxmi told Tripura media that Tripura’s actual growth in domestic product is only 7 % as per central govt’s data, which has been identified as the lowest GBP growth rate in a country.“The low GDP rate is because the Communist Govt here has badly failed to utilize any fund allocated from the central. The fund which comes for SC Welfare a huge mismatch is found every year. In the last 2015-16 FY it was seen that more than 14 % fund remained non-utilize but the CPI-M govt didn’t return the money back to the central and as a result fund was slashed. The govt could easily utilize the money in other works”, said Laxmi.

“Unless and until the investment is done by the state govt itself no state can be progresses”, said Laxmi.

It’s worthy to mention here that NITI Aayog member BibekDebroy suggested the same thing to the Chief Minister of Tripura.

BibekDebRoy said, “How far the Central can push a state govt for development. Every developed state known for their own quality”… however the suggestion of NITI Aayog / BibekDebroywas hard to digest by Tripura CM so Manikbegan to blast the central govt heavily before foreign delegates few months back at PragnaBhavan. The next what happened it need not to be described, it’s well popular story about CM’s entitled with “Anti-nationalist Chief Minister of India”.

However, on Saturday evening CM gave a long lecture how to grow the economy of the state and the country. He also lectured how to generate employment whereas his own state is burdened by 7 lakhs of unemployed youths.

He also strongly criticized the central govt for cancelling Planning Commission & implementing NITI Aayog.

The BJP leader may be rightly said while describing Communists Economic policy, “The communists live in fantasy world and whatever they describe are nothing but fantasy”.
