AGARTALA, Dec 4 (TIWN): Manik Sarkar’s moral values dived rock bottom as communist CM never loses any opportunity to bootlick China even at the expense of India’s national interest. After meeting US ambassador, Manik Sarkar lost no time to attack Modi Govt, US Govt to please China. Tripura geographically isolated in India, was never cared by any Central Govt other than Modi Govt from 2014. Successive Tripura Govts never cared for long term developments. The term South East Asia Gateway never was much popular with Tripura’s location before the Modi Govt came in power but the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar after ruling for long 18 years, surprised the intellectuals of the state, when he said, “Tripura’s geographical location is extremely wonderful which can become South East Asia’s gateway and understanding this the BJP govt is trying to grab the soil of Tripura and to give it to the Capitalists (USA) hands”. Wily Manik was trying to portray Tripura’s location by mentioning gateway to make the people understand that ‘Gateway’ is actually Manik’s idea, whereas Tripura CM failed to make a corridor for anything either its Internet gateway or it’s Indo-Bangla railway.

CM surprised the town hall when he said, act east policy is nothing but just to colonize Tripura, as America is trying to 'gherou'(encircle) China.

It raised criticism that this is the same Chief Minister who not even before 24 hrs had passed that he met the American Ambassador Richard Verma and just before few days he applauded with US Consulate General Craig Hall’s wife’s Rabindra Sangeet.

However, Chief Minister knows very well that the town hall speech given by him will not reach to the American Ambassador at all.

On the other hand the communist CM once again proven that how CPI-M is concerned about China although China is aggressive towards India via North East. Just because politically China is CPI-M’s ally CM is ready to say anything against any country if it hurts China, including India as by saying “Gherouing-China” he must had meant that India is also being used by America in this activity as it’s neighbor of China. 

However, China’s aggressive steps towards Northeast India is worrying the Home Ministry of India, which killed atleast 18 soldiers in Manipur on June 4, 2015.

The tension of foreign attack & occupying India’s land by neighboring countries not only confined to J&K land, but Arunachal & other Northeast States are attacking frequently by China, if not directly but by using the ethnic groups inside Northeast, subjected the Home Minister Rajnath Singh in 2016 to take initiative to seal NE border within 2017. However, Home Ministry due to political interference facing hurdle to outright the fencing work in states like Tripura. But CPI-M continues its honeymoon with China.

With a surprise it has been notice that among few tribals also in Tripura sympathy for China & rebellious mentality towards Central Govt has increased the tension further.

Earlier also Tripura  CM came under massive criticism, intellectual slaps when he hit PM Modi at NE summit, saying that India govt is doing Dadagiri over neighboring countries & that’s how the Communists operates.
