On Sep 23rd the first the issue raised in Assembly by Sudip Roy Barman, who asked CM to take back his word. But CM said, “I am strict to my statement of yesterday”. Following CM’s egoistic remark TMC held a press meet on 24rth Sept & released how CPI-M has been working as Anti Nationalist since 1930 & how CPI-M having soft corner for China, Pakistan like countries.

CM added many comments with that & said, “The neighboring countries may be poor we should not behave with them like this”. Chief Minister also mentioned Tripura’s relation is much better with Bangladesh.

CM also spoke about terrorist bases, added due to such a Govt. India is attacking by internal terrorists.

Bangladesh Industry minister Amir Hossain Amu also attended the seminar & before him Manik accused the Prime Minister of India by saying that he is trying to show DADAGIRI (over dominance) on neighboring countries. However, CPI-M has always insecurity about such Imaginary dominations. In a letter to Governor TMC wrote, “Northeast Connectivity Summit for 3 days held at Pragna Bhawan Agartala. In the said summit many delegates from foreign countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, Russia, England, Chief Minister of NE states & high level officials attended. In the open speech Manik Sarkar stated that Dadagiri of Indian Govt. called by Manik Sarkar was referred to the various developmental works in NE region, in pursuant to Indian foreign policy in establishing friendship & cordial relation between India & neighboring countries. Sarkar’s speech was totally anti-national, anti-constitutional & beyond jurisdiction of state Chief Minister. Sarkar’s speech was open provocation, particularly to Pakistan. It will trigger violence by Pakistan against India. As has already been witnessed for last few days Pakistan led Terrorists killed many Indian soldiers in the “Uri” attack in Jammu & Kashmir state. In such time Manik Sarkar’s speech will aggravate the relationship with India & Pakistan”.

Central Govt and Union Home Ministry likely to censure Tripura CM after State Governor's report is submitted at Delhi.
