Talking to TIWN correspondent on Thursday evening , Transport Minister Manik Dey further said that the inauguration program will begin from 12 in the afternoon and will continue for one and half an hour. It is to be mentioned here that on the same day the foundation stone for the Indo-Bangla rail link will also be laid. “This is a fully plan-wise crisis created in Tripura created by the Communist Govt. to halt TMC’s political campaign as Mamata Banarjee is arriving in August 9. After 9th August no crisis will be there”, protesters added. Ahead of Mamata Banarjee’s arrival CPI-M is willingly creating the crisis, alleged TMC.

However, a source claimed that at least 44 people are coming from railway authority to participate in this inauguration of Agartala-Delhi Express train on July 31. Apart, 6 representatives are coming along with Bangladesh Railway Minister.

Concluding the inauguration of Agartala- Delhi express train on July31 the two rail minister of both the nation will visit Akahuara border, and they will also watch flag retreating ceremony.

However, the Bangladesh delegates will return to their nation on the same day.  Tripura state government will also organise a cultural program and dinner in the honour of union minister.  The very next the railway delegates will leave the state for Dimapur.

The contradictory point is that the name of the train is not yet decided and neither any roadmap of the trains is being circulated for the knowledge of the people. However, the sources claim that the name of the train will be either Tripurasundari express or tripureshwari express.

Security arrangements, parking, sitting arrangements, cleanliness, technicalities and all other things are given highest priority ahead of 2 days of Express train inauguration at Agartala railway station.

It is to  be mentioned here that the inauguration of the express train service was delayed due to the collapse of the track at Margendisa  in Assam, but now the diversion track which was prepared by NFR is completely ready to mark the journey of the Agartala-Delhi train service .

However, adding another milestone in the history of Tripura, the land-locked state has finally made its entry in the BG railway map of the country.

Improving the transport and connectivity in the landlocked Tripura of the northeast region is one of the top most priorities of the government. A lot of focus is being laid to enhance railway connectivity in the region.

It will be not less than a miracle if BG Express train starts running from July31.
