AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): Although Tripura CM Manik Sarkar multiple times declined to have his connection with chit fund group of agencies as Rose Valley, but a recent data gathered through RTI act, would disclose how concerned Manik Sarkar led CPI-M Govt to sustain their chit fund group friends.

On May 13, 2015, the Rose Valley Industries Limited , (Address TC building , Mantribari Road Agartala, Tripura West)  had received Rs 33.68 Lac through cheque no 878202 , from Govt. of India as Central Capital Investment subsidy .

This information has been disclosed from Tripura industry department vide letter no F.DI/RTI/1(18)/2015/17037-38, dated 23-Sep-2015. Most surprisingly, this subsidy was recommended by the state level committee itself.   Earlier also this information was confirmed by NEDFI that Rose Valley moneys had been sanctioned by the govt., with the full approval of Tripura State Govt. Now question arises, whether CBI is inquiring against Rose Valley group and as well as all media & political parties are protesting against this groups, so how it is possible to receive the sanction money from Government?

The amount was sanctioned in the name of : “Rose Valley Industries Limited”, with the address at “TC Building Mantir Bari Road, Agartala West Tripura” with dated 15/05/2015, Check Number: 878202, Check dated:  13/ 05/2015, under the scheme of “Central Capital Investment Subsity” , with the distribution duration of (01.04. 2000 – 31/07/2005).

The subsidy was recommended by State Level Committee and disbursed by North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Limited and the paid amount has been mentioned as Rs. 33, 68, 388.

However, Tripura CM who tries to portray his image as ignorant about the chit-fund group of agencies, since the very beginning, what will he say now? How is it possible that being the Chief Minister himself, Manik Sarkar is unaware of such an important issue of Rs 33 Lakhs subsidy recommendation by his own State Level Committee? How a committee would further proceed towards a work without the consult of the CM? But Chief Minister Manik Sarkar tries to fool the public by showing himself ignorant and innocent in this biggest ever ponzi scheme in Tripura.

Even though Rose Valley owners arrested by CBI, but Tripura Industry Dept approved the subsidy for them, via the State Level Committee of his own state.

Whether following the arrest of 2 of the Rose Valley Group's directors namely Ashok Kumar Saha and Shibamoy Dutta at Kolkata and CBI took both Directors to unearth Rose Valley ‘s thousands of crores Chit Fund money trail involving many fake businesses, on that moment, such an unveil of subsidy recommendation proves the involvement of Tripura Chief Minister’s in this scam.

The High Court of Tripura also instructed the State Government to form a full-fledged team to investigate all the matters related to Chit fund issues. But now it shows that Manik Sarkar has requested the North Eastern developmental organization for the subsidy, in the year 2014, shows data.

Once Sarkar said, he attended the inauguration programme of Rose Valley being ignorant of the fact that Rose Valley group of agencies have any illegal business. But what the excuse will Sarkar give now?

It’s to be mentioned here that the scam itself is at least seven times bigger than Saradha scam. Rose Valley has been the ever biggest chit fund operator held in Tripura, during left front govt.’s ruling and had spreaded over the remote tribal areas, and mostly poor and uneducated people became victim of it.
