State BJP party held meeting with DoNER minister

AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): Aiming to revitalize the state BJP party, Union Development of the North eastern Region (DoNER) Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh on Friday held a meeting with the delegates of the BJP party at BJP office premises.

Talking to TIWN Correspondent BJP state president Sudhindra Dasgupta on Friday said that meeting was held to discuss on the issue of the ongoing development project in the state.

Speaking at the official meeting with state BJP party, DoNER Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh said that India will not develop till the Northeast develops. The central government is committed to realise the potential of the Northeast and accelerating its progress, added singh.

However, Dr.Singh also urged the state to properly utilize the central schemes and fund for the quick development of the state.

Rich natural resources combined with talent of youth gives the Northeast the potential to play a key role in the development journey, Singh noted.

It is to be mentioned here that keeping eye on the ensuing 2018 assembly election BJP is standing high with its goal and aspiration and to revitalize the state BJP party the DoNER minister held the meeting state BJP party.

BJP state president Sudindra Dasgupta also said that the party has also informed the DoNER minister about the bad governance of the ruling government and rising atrocities against women in the state.
