TIWN

AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): Although CID has successfully found out the main accused in Santa Saha murder case, but the Pritam murder case which were handed over CID long before, has failed to bring any progress in the case. Family members of Pritam, has blamed the CID for not doing proper investigation in the case. According to Pritam’s family members, the state Tripura under the regime of CM Manik Sarkar has become a place for a particular section of people and for innocent people there is no place.

Family members of Pritam also said that when CID came to their house they gave details in a written document, where Tanmoy’s name was included, with whom Suchismita had illegal relation, alleged family members. But CID didn’t felt it necessary to arrest Tanmoy or to interrogate him.

However, Suchismita Roy accused of allegedly murdering her husband was produced in court on July 2014. Presently she is jail custody. Although she appealed for bail in the High Court, but HC divisional bench chaired by Chief Justice Deepak Gupta has rejected the bail appeal of Suchismita. After that no development could be brought by CID, alleged family members.

Earlier in the month of July, a large number of people gathered at East police station demanding capital punishment of Pritam’s murderer, but more than 3 months have been passed, but none of the other accused except Suchismita has been arrested yet. Family members of Pritam mentioned that Tanmoy was used to come on regular basis to meet her and many such instances which will unveil their illegal relation was written to CID, said guardians of Pritam to media.

Pritam and Suchismita got married against the will of their families and started living in a rented house near Palace Compound. Pritam is from Jagaharimura area and belongs to a middle income family. Suchismita on the other is a daughter of a high official of the state government. Though they married against the will of their family yet their married life was quiet happy.

Now it’s to be seen how many months CID needs to progress on that case, as at least 7 months CID took to unveil Santa murder case.
