AGARTALA, August 31 (TIWN): Altogether four persons were injured in a road mishap on Monday at around 11:30 in the morning.
The incident took place at Bankumari under College Tilla Out post.
The incident took place when a reckless truck bearing registration number TR01-1649 collided with an auto bearing registration TR01-D-4079.
The College Tilla Out post police manage to arrest the accused truck driver, Anu Sarkar (27).
Police said that the incident took place after the truck went reckless.
The sand loaded truck was heading towards Motorstand from Ananda Nagar via Bankumari.
However, Auto driver Biswajit Das (23) and a passenger indentified Siru Kumar Debbarma above 50-year of age was critically injured and was admitted to the GB hospital.
Besides, two ladies were also injured but the injury was not critical they left the spot.
However, this incident brewed resentment among the residence of the area.
