 CID team prepares dummy of pritam’s body for investigation

AGARTALA, July 21 (TIWN): CID team on Tuesday has prepared a dummy of Pritam’s body and has begun the intense investigation of sensational Pritam murder case. Following the investigation, the team has also scrutinized the rented room of Pritam where he was found dead. East police has already handed over the documents related to the murder case.For quick investigation of pritam’s murder, the case is being handed over to the CID team. The team is constituted under the leadership of SP of state CID branch.As a part of the investigation the team has also interrogated with the parents of the pritam and has also questioned the localites of the area to resolve the mystery behind pritam’s murder. The team will also interrogate with the family and friends of the accused wife of the deceased Suchismita very soon. However, Police so far were unable to expose whether Pritam was murdered or he had committed suicide, but a deep injury mark on his neck clearly indicates that he was murdered. Following the investigation carried out by police the parents of Pritam expressed disappointment over the progress of the case and has met Chief Minister Manik Sarkar seeking justice to the murder of their son Pritam. The family members had later met the Director General of Police (DGP) at police headquarter. Replying to the demand of the Pritam’s family members DGP has handed over the case with the CID.

It is to be mention here that the murder took place on 2nd July night. Resentment brewed up after the locals of Agartala Palace Compound found Pritam dead at his rented house. The East Agartala police station’s police following this had arrested his accused wife Suchishmita Roy for her alleged involvement in the murder case. Suchismita, wife of the deceased was arrested in connection with the murder of her husband Pritam (22), a resident of Jagaharimura, on July 5.

Suchismita’s statement appears self contradictory which indicates her hand in the case, said the police. In course of search, police recovered some materials which could be helpful for the investigation process to the CID team.

On the day of their first marriage anniversary, Pritam was allegedly murdered. Locals said that Pritam used to live with his wife Suchismita at a rented house right after their marriage due to some family tension.
