AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): Focusing on the deprivation of the youths in different sectors of the state over employments and others under the misrule of the Left front government, Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress on Thursday organized a State level convention ‘Sankalp’ at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan.

“There is no difference between CPI-M and BJP, if both the parties had wanted justices for the common people who were cheated by the chit fund companies then CM Manik Sarkar would have himself urged the Prime Minister to set CBI investigation in the state”, said All India Pradesh Youth Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja. Working president of Congress Party Pradyut Kishore Debbarman, Ashish Kumar Saha were also presented at the programme and others.

Targeting the BJP, Singh said that before coming to power Modi assured several times to bring back the black money in the country but till no clue of the black money has come yet. He further assured that within six months the Congress party of the state will re-establish in their place in the state and to enforce it if needed he will visit the state in every two months.

He also urged every member of the party to enthusiastically participate in every problem faced by the common people and asked them to stay in contact with the people of the state every time they needed.

Youth leaders from all the blocks of the state had participated in the conference. The conference mainly focused on the deprivation of the youths in the different sector of employments and others under the misrule of the Left front government.

Addressing the convention, Youth Congress President Sushanta Choudhury said that though BJP had managed to overcome and grabbed the second position in the recent held by-election, without losing confidence the youth party had to fight back and to grab the place as the only alternative of CPI-M.

Under the rule of Left front government the state is suffering from various scam like Chit Fund and teachers scam, said Choudhury. Besides, he also mentioned about Sushma Swaraj and controversy's favourite child Lalit Modi scandal over travel documents granted to the latter, after the intervention of the External Affairs minister.

Further, he said that under the left rule the people of the interior part of the state are suffering from lack of health facility, deplorable condition of the electricity and acute shortage of water and many others.

He also mentioned that this year CM had visited many time to suppress the CBI investigation over chit fund scam. This is the time when the party should promise that each members of the party would stand for the common people of the state.

He said that this kind of development works carried out by the Congress party in the state could not be matched by any other party. If the public wants they can make Government and if they want they can even demolish any Government by not giving any vote.

During the convention, Indian Youth Congress Secretary, In-Charge State Daiyan Hussain said that if the parent Congress and the Youth Congress work together then within no time the party will fulfil its target. The party decided that to give one membership at booth level every month.

He said that the party should increase communication with the people and its member.

Amrinder is the 17th national president of IYC and he associated with IYC as block president. Later, he was promoted to District Youth Congress president in 2008. In 2010, he became national general secretary of IYC.
