‘Birballab Saha Medha-britti’ award programme at Shakhicharan Vidya Niketan

AGARTALA, July 5 (TIWN): All Tripura Teachers' Association (ATTA) central committee organized ‘Birballab Saha Medha-britti’ award programme at Shakhicharan Vidya Niketan on Sunday.

During the programme, the rank holders of the TBSE board examination, 2015, who were within the meritorious list had received the ‘Birballab Saha Medha-bridhi’ award on June 5.

Ambika Dasgupta of Sishu Bihar H.S. School who secured the first position with a total of 669, awarded with the ‘Birballab Saha Medha-britti’ award. The Second position secured by Himadri Poddar of Udaipur English Medium H.S. School with a total of 668, the third position secured by Abhishek Roy, alumni of Sishu Bihar H.S. School, scored a total number of 665 out of 700 in Madhyamik examination, received the award.

Besides, the fourth position holders Anubrata Nath of Sishu Bihar H.S. School and Sagarika Datta of M.T.B. Girls’ H.S. School jointly secured total of 664, Nabajyoti Majumder of Sishu Bihar H.S. School who managed to achieve the fifth position with a total of 663 and with an aggregate of 662 out of 700, Debanjan Majumder of Udaipur English Medium H.S.School who managed to make his entry in the top ten merit list as the sixth position holder also received the award.

Among the enrolled names in the merit list, Abhijit kar an alumni of Udaipur English Medium H.S.School who had secured 661 and grabbed the seventh position, eighth position holder Soumen Roy of Brajendranagar Boys H.S. School and Saikat Majumder of Brintak Siksha Niketan with an aggregate of 659 and the ninth position holder by Rahul Saha of Vivekananda Vidyapith High School and Dibakar Patiya of Sishu Bihar H.S. School with an aggregate of 657 had awarded on Sunday.

Last but not the least the tenth position holder Arijit Chakraborty of B.B. Institution with an aggregate of 655 out of 700 also received the award.

During the programme, General Secretary of ATTA Anup Bhattacharjee, younger brother of late Birballab Saha and Principal Prashanta Kumar Bhattacharjee were present at the programme.

The ‘Birballab Saha Medha-britti’ award has commenced from the year 2009.
