SANTIRBAZAR, July 4 (TIWN): People shed their tears, lighted candles, walked in a vow of silent rally following one gang-rape incident at Delhi, but when it comes with their own state Tripura’s incident, people choose to remain silent here.

The last 29th June’s night which ushered a darkness in a family’s life at South Tripura Dist. after a woman was being gang-raped by 4 CPI-M cadres; the case which still follows “No Arrest” of the accused persons yet today, exhibits lefty government’s nourishing of a handicapped-civil and law-system over here. Subal Bhowmik, BJP state leader visited the victim’s house on July 3 and warned the police to arrest the rape accused persons namely Litan Das, Atal Das, Jiban Das, Bishu Das within 48 hours, otherwise the matter would be taken to the central ministry, said Bhowmik.

While talking to TIWN Subal Bhowmik said, “The primitivism and barbarism which is dominating the whole state Tripura, is a result of Chief-Minister’s handicapped police service. This gang-rape also occurred as police made a chance to the rapists by arresting the victim’s husband before few hours of the rape-incident.”

The event of 29th July had been worked up very systematically, with the help of the police force of Santir Bazar.  “Police”, the protector of human rights, had been allegedly a part of this big “Plot” fabricated by the ruling party members, to take the revenge from Bimal Das, the husband of the rape-victim, who suddenly resign from CPI-M party before few days and joined  Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Bimal Das earlier was an active member of CPI-M party, but very recently after few issues with CPI-M, Bimal Das had joined BJP. Then on June 28th Bimal Das had a little row with his neighbours. In this silly charge, Bimal Das had been arrested by Santir Bazar police on June 29.

On that very night after making Bimal Das’s house empty by keeping him in the lock-up, 4 CPI-M cadres Litan Das, Atal Das, Jiban Das and Bishu Das robustly entered the house of Bimal Das, and after breaking the door they brutally raped her before the eyes of her children from 12 to 2.00 am. One of the accused namely Bishu Das was at watch and restricting people to come close to the incident, by showing weapons to them and enjoying the horrifying event which was going inside the room.

After 2 hours they went out and threaten the people over there “never to go against them”. The she had been taken to Birchandra Manu Hospital, Santir Bazar but unfortunately after this tragic episode of her life, her husband is staying far away from her, as in the name of law and order he has been spending hours in jail. On this very day a case had been registered in Santir Bazar P.S., case number 32/2015/Sec.457/376(d)/34.

But police has no urgency to arrest the accused persons after this terrible episode, and acting as the “Chamchas” (Yes-Men) of the ruling Govt.

Surprisingly Bimal Das is still helplessly placed in Jail under the strict observation by the police, and on the other hand persons like Litan Das, Atal Das, Jiban Das and Bishu Das are roaming openly by showing the tag of “CPI-M”, a pass to anywhere in Manik’s “Golden Era”.

Now it is to be noticed how far, BJP will take the issue for that victimized family, who left CPI-M party to support the first mentioned one.
