AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): In view of the current political status of the ruling CPI-M here in Tripura and to stage an uncompromising attitude movement against the ‘Bad governance’ of the ruling Left front, the Tripura Youth Congress would organise a state level delegation convention here at Agartala Rabindra Bhawan on July 9. However, on yet another ‘show’ the youth congress would manage to bring the All India Youth Congress Chief Amarinder Singh Raja Brar here in Tripura to address the youths of the state during the convention.

Talking to the reporters here at the youth congress office the State President Sushanta Chakroborty on Friday announced that Singh would arrive here on July 9 to attend the state level delegation convention at Agartala Rabindra Bhawan. This is for the first time that Singh would visit here in Tripura to support the youth congress’ movement.

Chakroborty said, “With an aim to stage an uncompromising attitude movement in the coming days against the bad governance of the ruling Left front government here the Youth Congress had planned several programmes to strengthen the youths and their power here in the state.”

Adding to that he said that the large number of youths of the state is deprived at a large under the regime of the ruling Left front government. “We only aim to squash the CPI-M and its Left front government from Tripura so that the youths of the state would bring justice,” Chakroborty said.

Besides, talking to the reporters the Youth Congress National Secretary and in-charge of Tripura Mohammad Dayanan Hussain on Friday said, “I feel very sad when I look upon the daily newspapers of Tripura which reveals a very bad condition of the youths of the state.” Adding to that Hussain expressing displeasure over the lack of security for the women of the state here said, “The Chief Minister of Tripura  always speaks about the so called “Golden era”, but how is it possible that the crimes against women here in Tripura are rising at an alarming rate in the ‘Golden era’ of Tripura.”

He said, “The only reason of the increasing rate of crimes here in Tripura is because the Government here had failed to punish the criminals here.” Hussain urges the state government here to ensure better securities for women of this state and to bring a development to the status of the youths of the state.

However later urging the youths of the state to join the congress organisation here and by staging a mass protest against the ‘bad governance’ of the ruling Left front government Hussain said that Youth Congress Chief Amarinder Singh Raja Brar has a very good and genuine power and skill to bring a change and strengthen the party at large. Raja Brar would address the gathering of youths here at Agartala Rabindra Bhawan on July 9.
