KAILASHAHAR, April 24 (TIWN): In another example of misappropriation of money in the name of construction in the “Golden Era” of So. Called Mr. Clean CM of Tripura Manik Sarkar, the construction work of new block building for Chandipur R.D. Block is in progress with extremely low quality work, alleged the locals of the area.

During the year 2013-2014 a total of Rs. 1,27,73,353 was sanctioned under R.D. department government of Tripura for the construction of the Chandipur R.D. Block.

The foundation stone was laid by the Industries & Commerce minister Tapan Chakraborty in the year 2014 on November 25. But after passing of five months the concerned construction manager is using very low quality material for the construction of the Chandipur R.D. Block.

According to sources, the executive engineer till date never visited the construction site. The implementing agency R.D. Kumarghat division is using low quality bricks from the very beginning of the construction.

It is to mention here that there is no time limit for the work. Due to which the entire money which was sanctioned during the year 2013-2014 is being utilized by some of the local CPI-M leaders and R.D. department officers.

It is also to be mentioned here that the misappropriation of public money in the “Golden Era” of So. Called Mr. Clean Chief Minister of Tripura Manik Sarkar is become a daily routine.
