AGARTALA, Jan 7 (TIWN): A clash erupted between BJP and Tipra Motha party centering BJP’s party office construction on Wednesday. The incident happened in Hejamara, when BJP leaders, members were in the underconstruction party office premises. According to BJP, there was an issue with the land which Tipra Motha cited whereas BJP was making the office not in any private space.

On Wednesday evening, all of a sudden, a group of miscreants reached the spot and  vandalized the party office area, and vehicles of the party leaders.

BJP accused Tipra Motha of the violence alleging dozens of Motha workers came attacking the party office.

Two BJP leaders were injured in the incident. 

Getting information, the Fire Brigade team rushed to the spot and took the injured people to the hospital.

Minister Tinku Roy, BJP leader Bipin Debbarma visited GB hospital to meet the injured party members.
